Fifteen years ago, my health unravelled in ways I never expected — and in ways conventional medicine couldn't fully explain or resolve.

What followed was one of the most disorienting and ultimately transformative periods of my life.

I turned towards alternative medicine Plants. Energy work. Ancient healing systems. Teachers who honored the body as an intelligent system capable of far more than we give it credit for.

That turning changed everything. What began as personal healing slowly became a path of devotion.

I studied with Hawaiian Kūpuna. With medicine keepers, acupuncturists, herbalists and bodyworkers who had spent lifetimes in devotion to a single tradition. Each one taught me something the next couldn't — and together they gave me a way of understanding healing that I have never been able to unsee.

Fields of Freya was born from that path. Not as a business plan. As a calling.

Where beauty is not vanity — but vitality.

In 2016, I began formulating botanical preparations within my healing practice in Southwest Colorado — initially for myself, then quietly for clients.

Word spread the way it does when something works. Not through marketing. Through results and trust.

Clients began requesting specific formulations. Then their friends did. Then people I had never met. The personal medicine I was formulating gradually became something others wanted to be a part of — not because I had positioned it that way, but because the plants did what plants do when they are gathered and prepared with genuine intention.

Fields of Freya emerged from that momentum. Slowly. Seasonally. The way everything in nature grows.

  • A refusal to accept that the skincare industry's standard — ingredients chosen for margin, diluted for scale, formulated for shelf life rather than skin life — was the only option available.

    Every ritual begins with one question: what is the finest ingredient in the world for what this season asks of our skin? Not what is available. Not what is affordable at scale. What is the finest.

    Then we go and find it.

    This is for the woman who has always known her skin deserved better than what the beauty aisle was offering. We built Fields of Freya for exactly that conviction.

You are here because something in you has always known there is a different way to move through the world — one that honors the seasons, the intelligence of the body, and the quiet wisdom of the living earth.

That knowing is not new for you. You have carried it for a long time.
