Seasonal Skincare

As we navigate seasonal changes throughout our lives so should the products we use on our skin.

With each changing season I bring in new ingredients and develop a new line of products, designed to support your wellbeing and carry you through the upcoming season.

Time and intention goes into every batch. I climb mountains and scour deserts to find you the most potent botanicals in which I begin infusing and making into medicine months ahead of time. The winter collection begins in the summer. Bright, vibrant florals are harvested in the peak of summer, infused in sacred oils throughout the autumn months and as the light begins to fade these potions are bottled with reverence and a beautiful line of products are revealed carrying you through the dark of winter.

Why seasonal? Well… as the seasons change so does everything around us. Our external environment, the food we eat, the clothes we wear so why not change what we put on our skin to best support our wellbeing. I’ve always wondered why we use the same skincare products as we watch and feel our external environment change, which noticeably affects our skin.

Our skin…

is our largest organ, our outermost protection, defending us from the external world, why use the same moisturizer for a hot summer day as you would a cold winter night… I never understood this aspect of the beauty industry, maybe it requires too much effort, too much inventory, too much change. The only constant in life is change, we might as well embrace it. We should be using products intentionally formulated for the seasons, protective and moisturizing formulas for the cold/dry winter and lighter, cooling and soothing formulas for the heat of summer. This is why I choose to curate an entirely new line of products to bring you the most supportive and potent medicine with each season. It’s a fun journey to join, I take into consideration what essences and medicines we may need as a collective and bring that healing medicine forth in my products.

Winter

  • I formulate with thicker skin quenching oils to combat dry skin. Grounding resins to stabilize the nervous system. Vibrant summer florals to shed light when it is fleeting. Scents of evergreen and pine cinnamon and cardamom.

Summer

Cooling . Grounding . Rejuvenating . Glowing

Cooling and soothing formulations are made to quench the sun kissed skin. Our energy is buzzing life is moving. High Alpine florals are in full bloom and give you the strength and vitality to keep going. Summer florals are magnificent and carry solar coding to store in our bones for the winter.

Spring

Uplifting . Cleansing . Purifying . Energizing

A time to harvest what emerges from the snow. Roots like dandelion and Burdock are cleansing and purifying. Resins keep us grounded in the upward buzz of spring. Springtime blooms are uplifting and help us shake off the winter blues.

Autumn

Soothing . Slow . Resilience

The most abundant time to harvest wild medicinals. The berries are in full bloom, rich in antioxidants to quench your skin full of nourishing nutrients. I bring in more hydrating oils to prep your skin for the drastic change of weather. A time to harvest roots and berries, seeds and nuts.
